DESCRIPTION:This 2-day advanced swiftwater training is designed and taught for professionals who work in or around swiftwater environments and have previously completed a PRO-I level course or equivalent. \nSpace is limited to 8 students and will be taught by SSI Lead Instructor\, Scott Solle. Class fills quickly\, so early registration is recommended. \nPlease Note: Due to current enrollment\, this course will be conducted using an integrated PRO-I / PRO-II delivery model. PRO-II participants will remain on a dedicated advanced training track under the direct supervision of the lead instructor\, with select training evolutions conducted alongside PRO-I students where appropriate. Advanced PRO-II skill sets will be delivered independently to ensure course objectives are met. \nCOURSE DETAILS \nWHO THIS IS FOR: Professionals who are looking for advanced swiftwater training and have completed the PRO-I course or equivalent no more than 3.5 years ago. \nONLINE COMPONENT: Yes – Required \nNFPA 1006 & 2500 COMPLIANT: No \nCOURSE FORMAT: 2 day SRT PRO-II course with 2 hours of online training prior to start date. 8 hours each day of in-field training. A practical examination will be given on morning one and then we will get directly in the river. There will be no formal classroom time allocated for the delivery of this course\, and this course will cover some previous skills and many new skills along with practical field application.
