The Swiftwater Safety Institute (SSI) delivers world-class swiftwater and flood response training built on decades of real river experience. Our instructors are polished professionals with deep operational backgrounds—guides, rescuers, and expedition leaders who have executed complex missions across diverse environments worldwide.
Founded in 2011, SSI has grown from its river-community origins into a trusted capability partner for U.S. military special operations, federal agencies, and public safety organizations. Our foundation remains the same: simple systems, smooth execution, and practical solutions that work in any resource environment.
