REGISTRATION AND REFUND

PLEASE NOTE:

Packrafting Expedition Courses are subject to a stand-alone refund policy that is covered in the course description and a $500 non-refundable deposit is due at time of registration.

Swiftwater Boat Operator Courses fall under the cancellation policy below, but processing fees are $350 per craft regardless of time of the cancellation and a $500 non-refundable deposit is due at time of registration.

  • You may wish to inquire with TRAVEL GUARD for trip cancellation and interruption insurance for all of our trainings as a way to protect your investment.

 

WHEN YOU CANCEL:

30 days prior to course – Full refund (-$75 processing fee) per attendee.

29 – 14 days prior to course – 50% refund if we cannot fill your space. If we can fill your space you will receive a refund (-$75 processing fee) per attendee.

13 days prior – No refund if we cannot fill your space. If we can fill your space you will receive a refund (-$75 processing fee) per attendee.

Future course credit is not given for student cancellations. We want you to be confident and committed prior to your registration for an SSI course.

 

WHEN YOU TRANSFER:

30 days prior to course – You can transfer to another SSI course this season at no additional cost

29 – 14 days prior to course – $75 fee to transfer to another SSI course in the current season

13 days prior – No transfers allowed – you are subject to the standard refund policy for this time period. No refund will be given if we cannot fill your space for a cancellation. If we can fill your space you will receive a refund (-$75 processing fee per attendee.)

 

IF SSI CANCELS:

If SSI cancels a course we will give you the option of re-booking another course or issue a full refund for your course costs. It is rare, but SSI may chose to cancel due to safety concerns.

 

COVID POSITIVE OR REQUIRED TO QUARANTINE:

If you are diagnosed with COVID19 or issued to quarantine by a medical provider within 10 days prior to the start date of your course, a full refund minus a $75 processing and cancellation fee will be issued with an approved medical providers diagnosis and/or positive test result. Please send electronic confirmation of a positive PCR test result or a picture of your positive antigen test result to SSI within the 10 day window. A positive test result is required to receive a refund minus the $75 processing fee.

REGISTERING THROUGH AN APPROVED SSI COURSE PROVIDER

You will be responsible to know the SSI course providers individual refund policy. If you do not sign up and pay directly through the SSI website, please inquire with the provider that you are registering with. If the course provider does not have an identifiable refund policy in place, the SSI refund policy will take effect. If you have questions, feel free to contact us.

 

VACCINATION REQUIREMENTS

SSI reserves the right to require vaccinations for course participation based on local COVID infection and hospitalization rates – if SSI does implement a vaccination requirement for your course and this is implemented after your registration and payment, we will issue a 50% refund for non vaccinated participants if we cannot fill your seat within 7 days of this announcement. VACCINATIONS ARE HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Protect yourself. Protect others.
