SSI Drysuit Rental Program
SSI has partnered with SolGear to offer high-quality drysuit rentals for students attending our courses. Staying warm and comfortable in the water allows you to focus on learning the skills that matter most. Through our partnership with SolGear, students can easily reserve a drysuit ahead of their course and have it ready for training.
How It Works
How the Rental Program Works
Register & request
Register for your SSI course, then complete the Drysuit Rental Request Form. Requires 14 day advance notice.
Invoice & payment
SSI sends an invoice via email — submit payment to confirm and lock in your rental.
Prep & delivery
SolGear prepares your drysuit and coordinates shipping or pickup.
Pricing
Rental, Shipping & Local Pick-Up Options
Students may choose to have their drysuit shipped to their home or pick it up locally in Moab, UT if attending a Moab course or local to the area.
Shipping
$175
- The drysuit will be shipped approximately 5 days before your course start date
- Return shipment of the drysuit is required within two business days after the course ends
- If the drysuit is not shipped within that 2-day window, a $50 late fee will be assessed.
- A prepaid return label will be included for easy return shipping
Moab, UT Pick-Up / Drop-Off
$150
Pick up and return your drysuit at our partner location: SolGear, 420 Kane Creek Blvd, Moab, UT 84532.
Pick-Up
- Available the day prior to your course during business hours
- 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Monday–Saturday)
Drop-Off
- Required the day after your course ends
Please Note
SolGear is closed on Sundays.
If your course ends on a Sunday and you need to return the drysuit the same day due to travel logistics, you will need to either:
- Arrange for someone to return the drysuit during business hours the following day, or
- Ship the suit back to SolGear within the 5-day return window.
Deposit
$100
- If repairs are required, the cost will be deducted from the deposit
- If the suit is returned late, the $50 late fee will be deducted from the deposit
